Envía: B2B LinkedIn that reaches decision-makers, with social selling and a dedicated marketing team

DataLab runs the LinkedIn strategy Envía, a B2B parcel delivery and logistics company, uses to win new clients: the manager's profile as the channel, 1:1 outreach at a sustainable pace and content that builds authority. A dedicated marketing team works on-site at its office. The goal isn't contacts: it's meetings with the people who make the buying decision.

Context

Envía is a B2B parcel delivery and logistics company operating in Colombia and Brazil; its brand is aligned with Guatemala and approved from Mexico. Its operation was growing faster than its in-house capacity to produce content, build the brand and generate B2B demand. In 2026 it brought DataLab in on two fronts that work together: the strategy to win clients on LinkedIn and a dedicated marketing team inside its office.

The challenge for Envía

The sales team carried new-account generation on its own: there was no outbound engine opening meetings with decision-makers in logistics, retail and key accounts. Brand approvals came from Mexico, but locally there was no content and design team to execute day to day, and each market needed its own tone. The challenge was to turn LinkedIn into a steady source of meetings with the people who decide, without putting all the weight on sales.

The hypothesis

If the manager's profile becomes the brand's channel, messages reach a well-defined ideal customer profile and volume stays at a pace the account can sustain, LinkedIn stops being a showcase and becomes a source of meetings with the people who decide. And if a dedicated team produces content from the client's office, the brand gains consistency without adding headcount.

What we did

  • Ideal customer profile (ICP) and segmentation by sector and industry: logistics, retail and key accounts.
  • Optimization of the manager's LinkedIn profile (banner, photo, headline and summary) so it becomes the company's channel for visibility and new opportunities.
  • Messages and sequences by segment, with cold outreach from the manager's personal profile: 20 to 40 connection requests and personalized messages a day, a sustainable volume that protects the account, plus automated sequences.
  • Enriched databases from Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cleaned and validated against the ICP before anyone gets a message.
  • Profile content with a funnel mix: 50% broad topics that earn reach (TOFU), 40% cases, guides and method (MOFU) and 10% sales content that invites a meeting (BOFU).
  • Weekly KPI review (requests, acceptance, replies and meetings), A/B testing of messages and a monthly executive report for leadership.
  • A dedicated, full-time marketing team working on-site at the client's office: a content specialist and a versatile designer (video, motion, graphics and email assets), with DataLab equipment, licenses and AI tools, training and effort tracking with Data People.

Results for Envía

The program is ongoing, so we don't publish Envía's figures yet. It's measured every week through connection requests, acceptance rate, replies and booked meetings, and leadership gets an executive report every month. What we can show is what the same social selling and outreach model has already delivered for other companies, whose names are confidential: a fintech gained 121 interested prospects in 3 months; a shelving company, 51 in 2 months; an edtech, 7 in 2 months; a technology company, 7 in 1 month; an insurer, 4 in 1 month; and two fintechs sustained 20 and 15 interested prospects a month for 6 months.

What we learned

In B2B, the goal isn't contacts: it's high-level meetings with the people who decide. That's why outreach comes from the manager's personal profile, because a message from a person earns more trust and more replies, and why volume stays at a pace the account can sustain. When a dedicated team feeds that profile with steady content, prospecting and brand push in the same direction.
